This is going to be a wonderful experiment in desktop publishing. Desktop Publishing, as a course, is an introduction to the world of digital mediums that are commonly used in articulating our ideas and an exploration of the ways in which we publish these to the world using both print and online sources. Great communication is about how the message is deleivered. The medium is the message.
I thought of this idea with elections just three weeks away. The background photo is one of New York Harbor taken during a visit there. I adjusted the levels of the photo (it was near dusk when I took the photo) to bring it back to a lighter, more usable brightness.
